You look a bit different with the new hairstyle.
Vous regardez un peu différent avec la nouvelle coiffure.

I guess the word 'regarder' is improper here. Because we say the following:

She looks young.
Elle fait jeune.

She looks …
Elle a l'air …

He doesn't look his age.
Il ne paraît pas son âge.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For me, you look more beautiful with your new hairstyle.
OR
As far as I am concerned, you look more beautiful with your new hairstyle.

À mon humble avis/opinion, vous paraissez plus bel avec votre nouvelle coiffure.

Please correct the two highlighted sentences.

regarder means to look at, not what sb looks like.

In this case, paraitre is perfectly correct. Some possible alternatives include:

Vous semblez plus belle
Vous avez l'air plus belle

My gut tells me that the later is more common.

It isn't. It doesn't make any sense. As stated above, regarder means to look at sth/sb.

OR
À mon humble avis/opinion, vous avez l'air plus bel avec votre nouvelle coiffure.

So both of the above are correct.

Almost.

bel is masculine. It's a special form of the beau adjective, when this is followed by a vowel or something that sounds like a vowel (e.g. "bel homme") and this following word is the noun the adjective refers to.

If you're talking about a girl, it should be belle.
If you're talking about a guy, it should be vous semblez plus beau.

The adjective should be "différente" since you've mentioned that it was a girl.
