A Noble prize is the most sought-after award in science.

According to the online dictionary, the French word 'chercher' means seek.

I am not sure.

How do you translated the sentence into French?

"Le prix nobel est la récompense la plus convoitée en science."

Something which is "convoité" is something that everybody wants.

Thanks Nicolas

The words ' récompense and convoitée' are not in my repertoire of French words.

I am a beginner.

I don't think I know how to pronounce those 2 words.

I guess you are a native French speaker.

Yes, i am ^^'

You can listen to the pronounciation on google translation or replace "récompense" by "prix"
but this is repetitive :/

And for "convoitée" you could say "désirée" or "rêvée".
