Plz check on my paragraph
Hello, I have just begun studied french recently. This is the paragraph I wrote about an interesting trip in the past tense.
J'ai voyagé à Singapour. Ma famille est allée avec moi l'été dernière. Singapour est une petit ville. Nous avons passé cinq jours. Nous avons séjourné à l'hotel dans le centre. C'est tout près de la Clarke Quay. D'abord, nous avons visité beaucoup de attractions célèbre. Par exemple, de Sentosa, Universal Studios, Merlion park, le zoo de Singapour, le Jardin botanique, la Esplanade et Marina Bay Sand sont beaux destinations à Singapour. Puis, nous avons mangé beaucoup de la cuisine dans le Chinatown et le Little India. Nous avons aussi fait du shopping dans la Orchard Road. C'est un voyage formidable.
There are so many things I am still confused. Does Singapour have article & if yes, it is masculine or feminine? How about names of the attractions? Do they need articles too?
Besides, I really don't know how to avoid repetition of "nous avons" with other basic expressions. And can I use "d'abord" & "puis" like above without having "enfin" in the end?
Pro French speakers please tell me how to improve this. Merci beaucouuuuup!!!

Well just some ideas and a correction or two.
Names of town don't normally need the article.I think Singapour can be the name of a town or the country itself and so "Le Singapour" would ,I think be the country and "Singapour " the town.
I don't think think "manger beaucoup de cuisine" would be a common expression (I could be wrong)
" On" is often used in place of "nous" -so "on a " can replace "nous avons"

Is there a reason for "on a " replacing "nous avons" only in the last instance?

No I don't think so .It was just that Hop Pham did ask specifically for alternatives and so I thought I would just put it in there.
To my mind it is always nice to avoid repetition and I imagine you could use it whenever you felt like (but not all the time either)

une dernière correction :
"Ma famille est allée avec moi l'été dernier" ??? => Ma famille est venue avec moi l'été dernier.
une alternative :
J'ai voyagé à Singapour l'été dernier et ma famille est venue avec moi ...
Ma famille et moi avons voyagé à Singapour l'été dernier ....
et une coquille "petite ville"

Cool. I ll note this down to ask tomorrow. I have only seen "y" in the "il y a" in my 2-week-learning :D seems like it would b a long & hard journey :)

U r indeed :) I ve checked it 5 times before I post it but still couldn't notice those grammar mistakes.
So I m gonna get these corrections from my teacher tomorrow. Hope she ll go easy on it.
