i have the sentence:

tu as lieu de te plaindre.  u have good reason to complain

could u also say:

tu as bon raison...

I am more familiar with "avoir lieu" to mean "take place"

"avoir (une) bonne raison de..."  sounds fine to me.

"tu as une bonne raison de te plaindre" is a correct sentence to say "tu as lieu de te plaindre"
