I don't know if anyone here can help me. I stumbled across this site while trying to find help for my problem. Is there a book that can tell me all the suitable words that can be used before any given word. By this I mean le la les ces cette ces mon ton son notre votre leurmes tes ses nos vos etc. My son comes home with homework he doesn't know how to do without help and I am completely English. Please if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

"I mean le la les ces cette ces mon ton son notre votre leurmes tes ses nos vos etc", these things are called Determiners
Enjoy!
Hi girls,

Here's a great resource about determiners: http://french.about.com/library/weekly/bl-determiners.htm

Wikipedia also has an entry about them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_articles_and_determiners
