Hi Gavin, I guess it's "qui se prend pas la tête". Anyway. "câlin" as an adjective, means gentle, tender, affectionate. "mec" is a guy. So the first part of the sentence means that she's looking for an affectionate guy. "se prendre la tête" is…

Hi Gavin, A "chiot" is indeed the word for a puppy. But we would only call an animal a "chiot", not a person. You can call it a "poulet" (chicken, but it doesn't mean that he's a coward person, just a young man), though :)

It should actually be translated as "As you can see my darling". Don't forget that the word "voilà" comes from "vois là" (see here). The end of the sentence can be translated as "nothing really new in my life" or something like that.
