Hi, folks,
I have to handle commerical documents in French and would appreciate if any one could translate this phrase 'fret non securise' in English. It appears in an airwaybill. I'm not sure whether it means 'loose cargo' or 'cargo not insured'. Thanks in advance to all.

Hi, my native tongue is French and I'm not sure of what this exactly means. But I've found this:

At the bottom right of the table in the document, they explain what it is. As I understand it, it means that the cargo has not been checked by the security (they didn't check what was in the cargo).
Hi, Marc,
Thank you for your quick reply. You've been most helpful indeed. That explanation gives me a better idea of the condition of the cargo and is of material importance to me when examining the documents. Once again, it's nice to hear from you and thanks for your time.
You're welcome ;)
