Hi, I was just wondering if you guys could give me the proper french way to write down:
"quand les riches se font la guerre, ce sont les pauvres qui meurent."
In french as I would love to get it as a quote on my arm for a tattoo but I am not clued up on french enough to know the right way to write it.
I want it writen the right way as I way to respect the langue as much as possible.
Thanks, Padraig

I can imagine that you know it's a quote. My answer was for Benoit who would like to perfect it.

Permalink Reply by Charles D on January 27, 2012 at 2:57am The only capital letter would be the "Q" in "quand." French isn't like German; it doesn't capitalize nouns that aren't proper names. Of course, you can always find the Satre quote in french and use his spelling.

pour ta citation, ce ne serait pas un texte de Jean-Louis Chautard et Gérard Grandjean sur une musique de Pierre Bénichou et Marie Grospierre? :) :)
