se décliner v. disponible

I've seen "disponible" many times in commerce. I've just seen the dictionary definition of "se décliner" and one use is the same -- "to be available in, to come in a certain color, form, etc." the sentence they gave as an example relates to commerce -- "the model comes in different colors." Since "disponible" is so widely used in commerce, I'm wondering if "se décliner" is rarely heard in commerce, but that it would be used when it's not a question of a party making a decision to produce something a certain way. for example, to say that a species of bird comes in different colors. would "disponible" be inappropriate in this case?

I can give you some french sentences for "to come in a certain color" :

- Ce produit est disponible en plusieurs couleurs.

- Ce produit se décline en plusieurs couleurs.

Both are used.

"se décline" is used to precise that the product is available in different colors, call "déclinaison"

You can also use "disponible" but this word is also use to precise that the product is in stock.

- Cet oiseau est disponible en bleu.

Hmm, the sentence is correct. But I think you have to use the word "disponible" and "déclinaison" just if you are talking about objects and not about animals or people.
