Permettez-moi de vous dire que le président est hors de danger.
Let me tell you that the president is out of danger.

My question is on the words 'Permettez-moi de vous dire que'.

Does it represent the English words 'let me tell that' ?
I guess French has some other ways to express 'let me ...'

I am not sure the way French say that someone is out of danger.
If you are slightly injured and obtain some medical attention, it is fine to say out of danger.
Please help me.

Yes, absolutely.

And yes, "hors de danger" seems to mean exactly the same thing as "out of danger".
Maybe he was injured and obtained medical help, yep. Or for some reason he was in a very dangerous place and he's now in a safer place.
Thanks Frank
So you approve my French sentence.
