Help with translation

Here is an excerpt from about the tensions between Tunisian artists within a politically hardline-islamic landscape.

I do not AT all understand what is meant by "nantis déchoir"

could someone please describe to me waht's being described?

Leur compassion les heurte presque autant que le racisme social exprimé parfois sans détour. Une catégorie très large, qui ne se limite pas aux mafieux profiteurs du régime Ben Ali. La révolution, pour ces sans-grade, ce serait de voir ces nantis déchoir.

Well I don't know those words either but nantis seems to mean "well to do" and déchoir seems to mean "fall in social station".

Does that make sense ? Are they wishing the ruination of the mafia class?

Thanks George, I can sort of understand the gist of it, as perhaps a suggestion that they would be "well off" to "fall in" their social statiosn- But I'm still a bit unsure!

no what I was thinking was , to actually translate that last sentence would be

"the revolution ,for those rankless people( =ces sans-grade ?) ,would be to see those well heeled people (=ces nantis) be taken down a peg or two (=déchoir)
