I have found this but online but it is incomplete. Even so it explains why what you have provided so far is ununtelligible

Firstly, thanks for the reply :) This is part of a story that we study in college. I believe it's written by "michel tournier" and is called "vendredi ou la vie sauvage"
I have some difficulty understanding it, however i was able to translate the first line. it says "Robinson descended more than once to the hole of the cave in order to find the peace of his infancy there. He had the habit of ..."  but i can't understand the rest.
