French for 'pass my exams'

Hi,

I know 'passer mes examens' means to take exams, but what about actually passing them?

In the French education system, one would often talk about avoir la moyenne (literally, "to get the average", i.e. 10 out of 20 in the marking system usually used) to effectively mean "pass".

Only "crancres" (like me) use "avoir la moyenne", others (unlike me) use "avoir une mention"...
