Possibly "ce sont les jours d'antan" .
I am not so certain but it could be something like that.

You could say something along these lines:
-Cette époque est révolue depuis longtemps
-(Malheureusement), ces jours sont bien loin derrière nous.
-Ces jours-là sont derrière nous.

Here is the definition of this locution:
Autant en emporte le vent : tout (ce dont il est question) sera emporté, détruit (se dit de promesses en l'air, de paroles, d'actes sans effet durable).
it means that things are doomed in a near future, it has a prospective meaning so it's not past oriented.

'Ces jours-là sont passés pour autant.'..maybe that sounds alright.
