Days gone by

Hello. I wonder if someone can help? How would I say 'Those days are long gone' in a regretful tone, as in 'We used to go on holiday to Britanny a lot but those days are long gone?'

Possibly "ce sont les jours d'antan" .

I am not so certain but it could be something like that.

Hello,

You could say something along these lines:

-Cette époque est révolue depuis longtemps

-(Malheureusement), ces jours sont bien loin derrière nous.

-Ces jours-là sont derrière nous.

neither does it to me.

Here is the definition of this locution:

Autant en emporte le vent : tout (ce dont il est question) sera emporté, détruit (se dit de promesses en l'air, de paroles, d'actes sans effet durable).

it means that things are doomed in a near future, it has a prospective meaning so it's not past oriented.
