J'ai reçu un grandiose accueil.

L'équipe a été accueillie par la gens.

L'équipe a été chaudement accueillie par les gens.

I received a grand welcome.

The team was welcomed by the crowd.

The team was warmly welcomed by the people.

I am not sure about the French sentences. Is it correct to say 'grandiose accueil' in French. There may be some other expressions in French.

In English it is common to say 'warm welcome'. I thought it would be fine to say 'chaudement accueillie' in French. I may be wrong.
Please tell me.

Yep, we say "chaudement accueilli" as well. Or (and it sounds better):

L'équipe a reçu un accueil chaleureux (received a warm welcome)
