Just to say: the update has now been released to the App Store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lettermeister/id501188860?mt=8
To play in French, go to the "LANGUAGE" menu from the main menu, from where you'll see both the option to select FRENCH and also whether you want EASY, MEDIUM or HARD vocabulary.
