Help with sont = être

Thank you Tatiana, I had sont down in my notebook as "are" but did not really know why. Deductive reasoning I suppose. Now I know for sure. Your snowflake avitar is what we are about to get here....

Sont is one of the many ways to conjugate the word etre, the proper conjugation for the present is: je-suis, tu-es, il/elle/on-est, nous-somme, vous-etes, ils/elles-sont the proper meaning of the word no matter which "person" (first, second, etc.)...

Hi Daniel, "ok je suis d'acord si c écrivre .elle a eu la grippe A" is written in "kikoolol". This is the way a lot of young people are writing, but definitely not how you should learn how to write French. The "C" in this case has to be consider...

Hello Daniel. "sont" is the third person plural (used with they, ex. ils sont..., elles sont..., which is translated as "they are...") of the verb "être" (translated as "be") . The verb "être" in the corresponding form acts almost in the same way...
