I would appreciate some help in understanding "Une bourde monumentale même" at the end of the following text:

Les soldes estivales étaient passées mais les 3 Suisses semblaient vouloir les prolonger. Les amplifier même. Avec - 90%, le prix de l'écran plat Samsung dernier cri de 132 cm fondait comme neige au soleil, de 1899,99 euros à 179,99 euros. L'affaire était trop belle : il s'agit d'une erreur. Une bourde monumentale même.

Ah yes!! And another example is: le Coq is the symbol of France and here it means something a man has and a woman does not! Pam

Another fun example is "meuf" (French word for "chick", verlan for "femme". We also sometimes use it in order to mean "girlfriend").
Don't feel offended if you ever hear this. While it's slang, it's really about the person. It's not as specific as the English word that sounds exactly the same.

Here fag means cigarette - I think we got it from AE. Is this the same as in BE & AE?

Fag meaning "cigarette" is BE. It means homosexual (faggot) in AE.

"My colleague's just popped out for a fag" would sound a bit strange in AE :)
