hi,everyone! just wonder if there's someone who can help me translate these sentences. i really2 need your help.

tu es tres belle sur ta nouvelle photo de profil sinon cava mieux?

alors comment tu va? cava mieux depuis? jespere que la vie est belle pr toi si tu weu parler jsui la.

il sulfit de retomber sur le bon homme.

c parfaitment ca ladoloscence.

comment croire en l'amour? l'amour a ses raisons que la raison ne connait pas. l'amour e qqchose de mysterieux et qui ne s'explique pas. l'amour est une chose mutuelle si une personne aime et pas l'autre alors ce n'est pas de l'amour ne jame croire a l'amour sur ce que l'on voit car l'amour est differente selon les gens voila j'espere que je repond ata question.

These are obviously Facebook messages, written in a combo of modern e-mail slang and plain bad spelling. I'll try and render them the same way in English:

Right. genre is the French like. A typical street talk word that we tend to use and abuse.
"genre" has kazillions of meanings like "sort of", "about", "say" ("être genre" = to be like), "mimic" ("faire genre"), ...
style is a synonym.

Both are considered bad practice, but they are extremely frequent (and I must confess, I use them all the time while talking to friends).

Haha, Frank and I were almost simultaneous. His translation is more cleaned-up than mine, as you can easily see. My only problem with it is in the first line: "photo de profil" in facebook terms would surely mean "profile pic" -- the picture that members post along with their personal details or "profile."

Frank renders "sinon" as "by the way." That's fine -- it conveys the redundancy.

Yeah, I hadn't paid attention to the fact that it all happened on Facebook.

"photo de profil" is confusing, but this is an interesting case.

de profil means side-on (which completely makes sense while talking about a photo)

de ton profil means either a profile as an aptitude/career profile or a profile as a personal page on a social network

dans ton profil and du profil only means a description on a social network

But well... given the explicit context and the general writing style, the intent was indeed probably to mean "profile pic".

what do you think of love? love is something that cannot be explained by logic . Love is something mysterious and can't explain itself. Love is something mutual and if one person likes someone but the other doesn't feel the same that it's not love, never believe that love is just about looks as it's different for everyone. I hope that i have answered your question.
