To say "your friend", with the "your" being the familiar form, do you say "Ta amie" or "T'amie"?

I'm not sure whether this is the right place for the question, however here it is: Is the expression "Your friend", with the "your" being the familiar form, correctly written "Ta amie" or "T'amie"? Thank you for your help.

it's ton amie
Exactly, it's "ton" amie, just for the sake of easier pronunciation.

Even for the feminine, we use "ton" when what follows is a vowel or with "h":

Ton amie
Ton oreille
Ton histoire

But when the noun begins with a consonant, "ta" has to be used:

Ta copine
Ta voiture
Ta soirée

"t'" is never used in order to mean "your". That particle is only for reflexive verbs.
Thanks Judith -- I replied a day or two ago, but I'm not sure I did it in the right place. If not, thank you very much. Joan Scott
