Quotidien

"Zen, un autre quotidien." The headline to a story in todays Le Figaro Scope.

How best to translate this? Why not use 'jour'?

Why 'daily' (quotidien)?

Could someone assist plse? Thnks.

(un) quotidien is a daily newspaper.

(un) jour is a day. We wouldn't use that word for a paper.

So it looks like "Zen" is the name of a new daily newspaper.
