Plural Guy or Girl?

Hey everyone,
so i have this french homework where its a plural sentence and i need to figure out if its feminine or masculine, i don't no how to tell if a plural word is guy or girl.
Here is an example: Nous sommes copains.

A dictionary will provide this kind of information. There are some rules of thumb (like a "ine" suffix is often feminine, while "in" is maculine), but looking up these words in a dictionary would be way more reliable.; ▶ Reply to This
