New here - how would you say 'we went for a long walk along the beach while the sun was setting'?

Hi,

I'm new here, and learning french for GCSE. I need some help phrasing some sentences and adding complexity and detail to sentences. If anyone would be kind enough to tell me how I would say this phrase: 'we went for a long walk along the beach while the sun was setting', I would be grateful. I don't trust google translate haha :P

You can say Nous avons fait une longue ballade le long de la plage alors que le soleil se couchait.
