I'm coming up to a French writing assessment and I am not too good at it so I have written out my 'letter' in English hoping someone with some experience in the French language would help me out!

here is the title and description i got with the assessment:)

--------------------------------------…

un sejour a l'extranger (travel and tourism)

Imagine you are a French student staying with a family in Berkshire during a school exchange. Write a letter home about the town where you are staying(minimum 100 words). Aim for at least 200 words if you are aiming for a C grade and above.
You COULD mention:

1) Description of the house you are staying in
2) Description of your area and your opinion of it
3) Comparison to your home town in France
4) What you have done during the week
5) What you want to do with your English partner this weekend

--------------------------------------…

I've covered all of the things i could mention simply because I have to remember it and just write it out in the exam. all of the things are just made up because they are what we have learned in class so I can easily remember. I would like it translated as simply as possible but I may have to add more if it translates to under 200 words. Also I have broke up the text into blocks so I can remember them easier.

--------------------------------------…

This is what I have wrote:

Hello mum and dad, I am having a wonderful time here in Bracknell. The family I am staying with are really nice and they have four children.

The house I am staying in is big and old, it has six bedrooms and a games room. The house is a cottage in the countryside. I really like the house because its cosy and quiet.

The area around the house is countryside, there are many fields and there is a small village nearby with a park and shops. I like the area because it is quiet and homely but there are not many children nearby and we have to travel far to go anywhere.

It is a lot different to home because its colder and wetter and we are not near the city here, so it is quieter and less polluted. Because its wet I have to wear boots a lot.

When I got here on Sunday we went straight to bed because we were tired. The next morning we went horse riding then went into town in the evening. On Tuesday we went swimming in their pool because it was sunny.

This weekend I want to visit London to go shopping and sightseeing. I want to visit the Tower of London and the London Eye.

--------------------------------------…

What I have wrote is completely made up. The word count in English is 214 so if you want to change it to make it easier for me to remember or make it longer if it goes under 200 words feel free to.

I thank you so much for any help!!
