i was reading a [rather brilliant] novel set in tudor time based around the overthrow of Mary queen of scotts, upon which Queen Elizabeth took her in in England, and in one particular scene Mary tells herself - 'Je suis la reine. I am Queen till death.'
But my sister said its not right, and then i said it was in the book, but she said its still wrong? :/
confused lol =P

any help?

also, can anyone translate 'i am queen to the death'?

For a translation, I'd suggest "Je serai la reine jusqu'à ma mort!" (or, more long-windedly, "...jusqu'à ce que la mort me prenne").

Of course, just because she said those two sentences doesn't mean that she thought or intended one to be a translation of the other.
