Hello!
Could you please help me with my French, as I'm a beginner?

I want to say, as in suggestion - What about ... - and indicate a person's name.

The direct translation will probably be something like 'Quel de?' or 'Comment de?' but I don't think it's correct.

Thank you!

No literal translation would really be suitable. The closest one would be Qu'en est-il de (sb), but it's a bit formal.

If this comes after a question, French folks would just say "et" followed by the name.

Tu vas bien ?
Oui, et toi ? Oui, et Bob ?

If you want to know what's up with sb, the question should be explicitly mentioned:

Et Bob, qu'est-ce qu'il devient ?

HIH.
