this is a exemple, in french :

Ces explications ne sont-elles utiles qu'aux débutants ?  (1)

or (another way to say the same thing in french)

  Ces explications sont-elles utiles seulement aux débutants ? (2)

 

The sentence number (2) can be translated in english like this :

Are these explanation only usefull for beginner?
