I find myself frustratingly slow in quick-chat forums...

how would i say:
"that sounds good"
-ca sonne bien?

or
"thank you for all your help?"
merci de m'aider

and any general tips? or other useful phrases?
I can read and listen very well.. but when it comes to expressing myself, it's so frustratingly hard since there is no given topic

About the translation of  "that sounds good"

- If you're talking about something you agree, you can say : " Ça a l'air bien "

- If you're talking about something you're listening (a music for exemple) you can actually say : " Ça sonne bien "

But, in fact, we (french people) don't often use these expressions. When we agree we just said "Ouais" or " Oui" and when a music sounds good we just say " Elle est bien " ( It's fine) or " Elle est pas mal " ( It's not so bad )

Then "Thank you for you help" can be translated : "Merci pour votre aide"

If you want to say "Merci de m'aider"  : "Thank you for helping me"

If hope it'll help you to be a better french speaker ! :)
