Looking for the French equivalent to the English (American) golf terms:

Starter - the official at the first tee who administers the commencement of play.

Flight - a subset of a competition's competitors who, because of some common attribute (age, gender, skill, etc.), contest the event within their group rather than against the entire field.  For example, a golf tournament with two "flights" - amateurs and professionals - in which amateurs compete against amateurs and professionals against professionals.  In English usage, this word is appropriated from the term for a flock of birds.
