Hello Kristy,
"Excusez-moi, ça motive" means "Excuse me, it motivates me" and it doesn't really make any sense to me.
Or maybe this is not a complete sentence and it was actually something like "Excusez-moi, sa motivation était de ...blablabla" (his motivation was to ....blablabla).
The context would help a lot.
