Hello

My very basic (at best) French aren't sufficient to understand the following citation.

J'ai souvant exprimé le même argument en diverse maniéres dans des veûës tout-à-fait differantes.

I am guessing that the word "veûës" is an old spelling of a word that is nowadays spelled differently, but I can't guess what it is in a way that would make sense of this sentence.

What does it mean?

Almost certainly "vues", and I think they just f""ked up their typing -- nothing to do with old spellings.

venues?
Thank you both. The sentence is still not clear to me. How would you translate it into English in a way that would make sense?

I have often expressed the same argument in diverse manner in quite different ......... ?
I have often used the same argument in various ways, in completely different settings.
