I have a few French exams coming up soon and the writing is the part i'm struggling with at the moment.

So, i was wondering if anyone could post a couple of useful phrases i can just put into pieces of writing.

Normally all bits writing are like, what are the advantages and disadvantages of this. Why is this popular etc.

For example. Les gens en profitent. Is a useful phrase i can just put into nearly every essay i do.

Thanks.

"Les gens ont l'habitude de croire que..." (+Noun or Verb)
People usually tend to believe that...

For example:

-With a verb: "Les gens ont l'habitude de croire qu'être populaire au lycée est primordial."
People usually tend to believe that being popular at highschool is major.

-With a noun: "Les gens ont l'habitude de croire que la popularité est quelque chose de primordial."
People usuaslly tend to believe that popularity is something major.
__
On the same model:
"C'est assez dur de comprendre pourquoi les gens pensent que"
It's quite hard to understand why people think that...
__
-"D'une part... D'autre part."
On the one hand... On the other hand.
__
"...mais il ne faut pas négliger les avantages d'une telle méthode"
...but we must not overlook the advantages of such a method.
__
"Il est plutôt intéressant de voir à quel point les gens sont attachés à cette idée de capitalisme"
It's rather interesting to notice how much people are attached to that idea of capitalism
__
"Ce que veulent les gens, c'est un objet pratique, qui tient dans la poche"
What people want, is a pratical object, which fits in your pocket
Thanks a lot. Really helped.
