on peut traduire par "je suis à toi"..
Hi there french Flower, ive been told it translates to " Im Le Vôtre" why are they so different?
no, it's not ok, but I have a problem to explain why :-( .
you can't use this form because we don't know what you talk about (I'm not sure of my english, so you can correct me if you want....;-) )
for example : look at this car. This is mine.
this is the same thing in french.
par exemple : regarde cet enfant, c'est le mien.
(look at this child, he's mine)
you can't just say : regarde le mien
what is "le mien"?
I hope that will help you!
thanks for your help i was just looking for the translation of "im Yours" to French.
Jenna -- were you "told" this by a computer translation system, by any chance?

If you use a computer translation system, then:
(a) you generally need to be really careful to correctly spell and punctuate words
(b) the system can't always guess the context in which you mean something, or in which a particular phrase is used.

Machine translation systems are used to dealing with business documents, where "yours" would generally be in the literal sense, as french flower says, of a car, document etc being "yours", in which case a common translaltion is le/la vôtre.

For this informal sense, where the meaning is more "I am at your disposition", stick to Je suis à toi.
