Translation

I recently had a delicious meal in a french restaurant. It was a deboned and rolled small game bird.
I asked the chef when he came to our table what type of fowl it was. He told me it was (i'm unsure how to spell the word correctly) "claque" or "clac". He did not know the english translation for it.
I am wondering what it was I had eaten as I would certainly like to have it again sometime.
