Online French course
Hi,
I m Indian and will be shortly going to France for my first trip there.
I heard French people don't speak good English, so I want to learn some basic spoken French, enouth to have a conversation. But I don' t have any language institute near my home.
Do you have any method/online french course that you would recommend ? Free if possible.

Hi Amit.
I lived in Paris for some time, and don't worry, most of the people DO speak French :-)
BUT it's always a good idea to learn some French before coming, as it will make the things easier for you.
Before coming, I took some classes from an online French course designed by the French Embassy in India called Click On French (www.clickonfrench.com). It was really good, a lot of audio files online, and I subscribed to the package with a teacher, and the teacher was really good.
