I came across the word "proprt" but not able to find its meaning online.

I looked at various online dictionaries and googled it but couldn't find it.

Please find below the context:

1. "Antienne se rattache à une forme latine du grec antiphona, proprt chant où une voix répond à une autre (préfixe anti-)."

2. "pérennité de l'adjectif latin perennem, proprt qui se continue année par année, éternel;"

3. "solennel ( proprt qui ne revient que chaque année)

I think it's an abbreviation of "proprement", (au sens propre), "proper sense"

Merci Grégory. Vous avez raison. After your hint I searched again online and got the reference of "proprt" in one of the etymological dictionaries....below is the description :

PROPER, adj. Peculiar ; not common ; natural; suitable.

French-proprt

Latin-proprhtx, peculiar.
