Today is the Music Day. In every city of France, all kinds of bands will be playing in the streets all evening long and during a part of the night.

(If you can correct my English translation, please do it, it would be highly appreciated).
Thank you !! ... i think that is the correct English !

thanks
Frank -- your English is absolutely fine, I'd just propose that speakers would tend to say "Today is Music Day", without the "the". On the other hand, if you use the word "festival", then you could say "Today is the Music Festival", or "Today is Music Festival day" (without "de" in the second case).
Thanks for your input, Neil! Appreciated.
