French assignment(language during the french revolution)

Well guys, I have this French assignment to do and was wondering if you guys could give me some help. The title is:

La langue de la révolution francaise, c'est le francais? Discutez

Could someone please give me some ideas on what to talk about or even a site where info coul be obtained.

So basically, I should just say yes, French was the language of the French Revolution, thanks to the wars on Patois' and the linguistic terror... Yes?

Just wondering, do ye think that French WAS the language of the french revolution OR was it one of the languages of the french revolution. Because of the different patois and dialects?
