Checking Out From A French Hotel

What phrase would you use to check out of a French hotel?

 

I've seen 'je veux vous signaler mon départ'.

 

Does that sound natural? What would suggest?

You're phrase is correct.

You can also say Je viens vous dire/signaler que je rends ma chambre le.../aujourd'hui/demain
