Acquiring a "Cultured" French accent.

I am studying French, and I’m quite keen on developing a “cultured” French accent.

Now, I know there is a great deal of “liaison” involved in French conversation - and a lot of clipping of words and squeezing them together - but is all of that acceptable in “cultured French” ?

Also, is there any audio material out there that deals with acquiring a “cultured” French accent.

Hi Daniel,

You can listen to French webradios and I would strongly advise you France Info, Europe 1. But I can only advise to forget

the British 'rise and fall' system as you know it in the UK. Just stress the last syllables.
