The best way to learn?

Salut! I have been trying the Michel Thomas cd's, I'm on the second one and I think its pretty easy to grasp , but will it help, anyone tried it, I apologize if this has been discussed before!

I would recommend books, tapes, watching movies with subtitles and above all learn from a native speaker if you can. Conversing with a native is the best way to reinforce what you learn from everything else! Bonne Chance!
