Je ne peux pas comprendre exactement l'usage du nom "toussaint". Est-ce qu' il y a quelqu'un qui pourrait me l'expliquer s'il vous plait?

Hi Maria,

"(la) Toussaint" is the All Saint's day.

It's a public holiday in France, and the traditional occasion for a visit to the cemetery to lay flowers on graves.

Also, I'm guessing the poster may have seen the expression la veille de la Toussaint, sometimes used to refer to "Halloween" (though I think you may as well say le soir de Halloween -- it's essentially a US concept).
