How does one say "Auto Detailing" in French?
How does one say "Auto Detailing" in French? I've heard the term "Detailing" used in French. Esthetique Automobile doesn't seem to cut it. Any ideas?

So I'll freely confess I know nothing about cars, but your idea of esthétque auto(mobile) doesn't seem a bad choice, although possibly it's a bit "industrial" -- like it refers to a carwash service rather than hours of painstaking work with a shammy leather.
Unless anyone else has any bright ideas, the only thing I can suggest is having a look at some web sites for the Concours d'Elégance that are held in France/Canada and seeing if they mention anything.

I've done exactly that. The term 'detailing' is starting to make inroads in France and in Quebec where we speak Frenchlish, it is well understood.
